One 18Kt yellow gold and Sterling Silver “Custom Made” “EDUARDO PELEGRIN” Designed Triplet Ammolite ring, wax cast, hand assembled and finished, measuring 26.50mm (at the top of the ring) tapering to 8.40mm (at the base of the shank). The ring features and oval top with a central raised Sterling silver faux bezel and with a tiered 18Kt yellow gold base, open back with domed textured shoulders, rounded rectangular shank with a high polished finish, set with:

1 – oval table style Ammolite triplet, measuring approximately 18.20mm x 12. 70mm, displaying green, orange, and yellow colours, good polish, good symmetry and good proportions (G make).

The ring weighs 29.60 grams.

What is a Triplet Ammolite?
A triplet ammolite consists of three layers:

• Top Layer (Cap): Usually a clear, protective covering made of synthetic spinel, quartz, or sapphire. This protects the softer ammolite layer beneath.
• Middle Layer (Ammolite): The actual thin slice of natural ammolite.
• Bottom Layer (Backing): Often a dark material like shale or black onyx, which helps stabilize the ammolite and enhances its color contrast.

Why Use a Triplet?

• Durability: Ammolite is relatively soft (3.5–4.5 on the Mohs scale), so the cap protects it from scratches and damage.
• Enhanced Appearance: The layers can intensify the play of color and iridescence.
