I am a designer and maker of handmade jewellery, a certified gemmologist (F.C.Gm.A), and an independent appraiser. As one of the few travelling appraisers in Vancouver, I’ve been actively appraising since 2000. I rely solely on word of mouth and do not advertise—my work speaks for itself.
My clients come from all walks, from private clients, Jewellery stores, banks, auction houses and law firms. The type of appraisals I offer are insurance replacement, estate appraisals, fair market value, and listings. I run my company on honesty and integrity.
My Jewellery career started at a very early age, apprenticing under a master jeweller and designer who happened to be my father, Eduardo Pelegrin. I apprenticed for 7 years, the old school way, making all my settings by hand rolling and cutting and filing with no moulds. I make every piece of Jewellery with heart and soul! This is my passion.

EDUARDO PELEGRIN DIAZ
Born October 20, 1942, in Madrid, Spain. He moved his family to Canada in 1973, where he established his name as a Designer and Maker of fine Jewelry. At the remarkably young age of fourteen, Eduardo Pelegrín began his training in one of the most prestigious jewellery workshops in Madrid, Spain. His collections, crafted entirely by hand in 18kt gold and set with only the finest gemstones, reflect a mastery of technique and an unmistakable artistic vision. Eduardo’s designs are celebrated for their originality, intricate detailing, and impeccable finish. A gifted and inspired jeweller, he passed his knowledge, passion, and closely guarded techniques to his daughter, Estela. Under his personal guidance, Estela grew into a designer and goldsmith in her own right, creating pieces that are modern, captivating, and sophisticated. “My father was not only a parent, but also my mentor, teacher, and closest friend. His talent was unparalleled, his high ethical standards, and his guidance are the cornerstone of my success as a jeweller, appraiser, and entrepreneur. I owe everything to him, and I honour him and his memory every day. I can still hear his voice guiding me in all that I do. He is deeply loved and profoundly missed.” |
